How to measure used energy in between certain hours?

Radbro 2 weeks ago in General questions updated by Support Manager 2 weeks ago 1

Hi guys!

I have a smart- MAIC D103 G3 energy monitor and I need to measure the energy (kWh) used on all 3 phases during daytime. I have seen on different meters the ability to measure the consumption using the sunrise/sunset as markers and I would love to do exactly that. Can you please help me configure the system in such way as to be able to get the energy consumption each day between sunrise and sunset?

Thanks!

You can count energy for daytime, nighttime, and anytime by the hour.

See the article on the tariff builder, use the hourly tariff.

Also on the Forum.

If you need to calculate how many kWh were consumed at night and how many during the day, use the "Tariff by consumption time"
You'll need to create two virtual values: "Day" and "Night."
For the "Day" value, set "1" during daytime hours and "0" during nighttime hours.
For the "Night" value, set "0" during daytime hours and "1" during nighttime hours.
After restarting the app, you can use the "Day" and "Night" values in widgets; these will be the kWh of energy consumed.

But it's not possible to set up automatic counting of energy from sunset to sunrise on the Dashboard, sorry.
